if someone sends me a mail through yahoo answer then how & where to read it ?

If you have a verified email account listed on your Yahoo Answers profile, then a notification should be sent to your verified email address. Just go to your email and check your inbox. Yahoo! Answers makes the email get sent through their server so that you can keep your address hidden.
to verify your email address, click on your avatar, then go to MY Q&A page then click on EDIT MY INFO and next to your email address there are links for "VERIFY ADDRESS". Click on the link and then yahoo will send you an email to that email address to verify it.

In your Yahoo email box, the person does not know your email address but is passed onto your address by Yahoo. You must have email reply enabled. Good luck!

Any contacts or information transfer occurs through INBOX of your mail! So, if someone contacts you, you'll receive it in your mail box (i.e., you INBOX)!

actually, they are sending it to your email address... so it doesn't matter what kind of email they have... ;)
