Our money hasn't been going into our 401k from our paychecks and we think someone repoted them to the US Dept of Labor. I want to know so I can find out if my money is safe.

You may be able to find the answer by simply doing an internet search...

You might not be able to find out if it's an ongoing investigation. And what would happen to you if you called and asked "Are you investigating Company X?" and they said "Should we be?"

Check with Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.com).
Depending on what the investigation is about,they may not tell you.

Ask them, but be ready for the fun to start when you do. The first 500 people you talk to won't have any idea.

Don't worry about it. What ever you do don't give your name to the gov or come to their attention.
