The news I get with yahoo is so boring. The headlines usually make me yawn and yet the next day I will find out from friends that there was big news that I never even heard of from yahoo. I need entertainment news as well as what's happening around the nation and maybe just a little sniff of what's going on in Iraq. (not thirty pages of it). So please tell me what works for you! Thanks.

For some headlines that are really good and that your friends probably haven't heard yet and these news sources are quick to get the top stories that end up becoming the mainstream talk soon afterwords. its good articles for around the nation and Iraq coverage check out its one of many news sources but just thought I share. I felt the same way about the yahoo news , this site isn't gonna cover all your news needs but it grabs some things I don't hear about in other other papers. some may find it offensive , Site is for those on a very Conservative way of thinking. I check the news articles of it that's all.

MichaelSavage.Com , FOXNews.COM.com is good too.

You can sign up for various newspapers. Some cost, some don't. Also, you can alter how much news shows, and what kind, using the tabs at the top of the Yahoo News page.

Try MSN, Washington Post, or any major newspaper, AOL, any of the other home pages, also you can refine you news on the My Yahoo page so you get more stories about what you want to see. Try it.

I prefer knowing about government and international events so I can't help you with the "entertainment" yahoo features you want.
