A lot of the guys you mentioned did not play on great great teams.
it helps run scoring if some other guys are doing the same.
you have to average over 50 for australia to keep form getting dropped.
Pieterson will end up with an average well over 50 if he plays enough and does not lose his head.
As for Hussain, he was not that talented to be mentioned with the other guys.

Yeah. Because keeping such a 45+ average in tests or even ODIs is very tough. You must score atleast a half-century every inning, or a century in every 2 innings played or so.
You check averages of players of other teams and compare and see.

They play & enjoy cricket,not believe in the records.if england want to increase average of their players recruit indian coach.and they didn't play against england.
