I fyour not sure prob red would be best, you can always dye it black later if you decide to. I dyed my hair black though with semi permanant dye and it never washed out at all I had to grow it out whne I get bored of it, and given that my hair is 1/2 way down my back it was a big colour commitment!

Black from the roots, but at about 5 inches from the end of your hair should be all red.

i think you should dye your hair red. it stands out more than black. black is a dark colour so if you see it on someone it's not going to suprise you. but if i saw a person with red hair i would think wow! they have personality and funk in life. you can choose any colour but i hope this has helped. Definitely red. I dyed my hair fiery red two months ago from black. It looks great in the sunshine and its driving my fiancee absolutely wild. The only downside is that you can't wear every colour clothes you might want. You have to stay away from anything glaringly redish, pink, orange, strong yellow, etc.

Have it black & red have the red underneath that looks cool, if not go black all over.

Dye it black if you want to stand out. Dye it red if you want to look conservative.
