This is from a woman who has big breasts which are 100% real. I think the obsession has to do with mothers not breast feeding their children.

Hey, I ain't from America, and I just love 'em!!
I think you'll find that being a man is quite a universal thing!
As someone else mentioned, we probably instinctively love 'em because we ain't got 'em!
If there is one thing God has truly gifted us with it is the sheer difference between men and women - one of His greatest blessings to us, His children.
The bigger the difference, the more we are attracted!
As the French say, "Viva la Difference!"
Also, it helps to keep the sexes equal, because the differences become the Rarities, and rarity is valued.
Right?
... especially as one sex compares itself with the other.
So we all know that that which is Rare is that which is valued.
Diamonds are worth so much because of their rarity.
The more the girls have that we don't the more value we seem to attribute to them.
It's just Life.
Appreciation and difference are what add Beauty to life.
Differences open the door to greater appreciation if we see them for what they are.

It's not just in America, but people are more open about it here.
The obsession is over the fact that men dont have them, and
they like them. So they are used as a marketing tool as well, in order to get their attention, in ads, mags, etc..

haha honostly I have no idea. I'm 5'10'' and slim and still an A...and I'm perfectly fine with that. The way I look at it is, ehh I'd look out of porportion.
