Everybody keeps arguing who is better LeBron or Wade. I think they're just equal.
Wade's ring is meaningless in an individual comparison because a championship is a team achievement. Some of the all time greats never won championships.
They're both unstoppable on the offensive end, they're both clutch, they both have strong bodies, they're both really athletic, they can both rebound and dish assists well.
I think they're equal and people should just stop trying to put one over the other. Let's just agree that they are both really really good.

There's nothing wrong about LeBron's character. He's never been involved in any trouble to hurt his reputation.

OMG what did I say? championships are meaningless in an individual comparison. If you put LeBron in Miami don't you think they would have done just as well? Give LeBron Haslem, Jason Williams, Mourning, Kapono, and Payton and let's see how good they'll be.

It's hard to determine who is better. Each one has their respective strengths and weaknesses, but I believe that LeBron has higher potential simply because of his height.

LeBron is the better passer. The reason why it didn't show on the assists category is because his teammates missed A LOT of open shots.

Wade attacks the rim more relentlessly. Sometimes LeBron settles for the highly-contested jump shot, while Wade likes to take it to the rim every time, all the time.

Wade is more clutch. The Heat relied almost exclusively on his abilities when the score was close and the game on the line. Wade almost always delivered.

LeBron is a better 3-point shooter. He improved his 3-point shooting significantly during the last offseason. I believe he'll be even better this go round.

So you could say that both are equally great right now. The NBA is in good hands with these two guys as the marquee players of the future.

King James, by a long shot. Dwayne Wade is phenominal but he doesn't even compare to King James.
When you are a coach trying to plan defense for a match up against Miami you plan is to make Wade beat you and don't give Shaq anything easy. Basically that translates into a lot of one on one match ups with Wade and nobody can stop him in that situation but as an opposing team that's ok as long as Shaq or maybe even Walker don't have a good game. The reason why Miami won the championship is because Walker, Posey, Williams, Mourning ,Payton and Haslim all played good.
BUT! If you are playing Cleveland you only try to stop Lebron. That's all, nothing else. Other team are completely focused on just stopping Lebron and he still averages 30pts 6ast and 6reb. He's 6'8" and runs and jumps he's 6'3" or 6'4". He's a monster and he is 2 years younger than Wade.

I disagree with saying that they are equal dwayne wade is such a better defender than lebron james is. I do agree with the fact that a NBA championship is a team award. They are both great players, they are both future hall of famers no doubt but dwayne wade is a more complete player than lebron james. I think that they both have that killer instict that all the great ones have, I think that it's just that wade is a better defender but except for that yeah, they are pretty close.

I think they are somewhat equal in a one on one game i would go Lebron because of his size i think he would jus push wade around they both need a better 3 pt shot wade iz alot more versatile he goes under, over, or around anyone who iz in his way while lebron goes throught uses more of a combo of strength and speed and wade is on a team with another all star and like 2 or 3 former all stars and lebron has a solid team but not enuff to get anywhere

One doesn't have to look very far in the past to figure this out. Think Michael Jordan. He didn't win a championship until he got surrounded by a good team to back him up.

LeBron is the better individual player, physically and talent-wise. While Dwayne is a phenomenal player in his own right, he is fortunate to be in a much better team than LeBron, thanks to Pat Riley.

but wade is a great sportsman. respectful on and off the court, thats why wade will be remembered as a great ball player and great champion. if you dont think that matters, just say randy moss...probably the most talented receiver of his time but will never be a hall of famer cause he acts like an idiot on and off the field.

you bring up some good points but there is one thing missing. LeBron hasn't led Cleveland to a championship.

I was watching Wade in the US games. I like him. He takes it to the hole, while Kobe shoots a lot. A lot! ! ! ! ! I cant find myself to like James. Since Rodman and Jordan are gone--- its hard to watch the NBA...
