The Meteorologist's Crystal Ball

Meteorologists really do use a crystal ball, or at least something that looks like one. This one, however, can't predict the future. It's the Campbell-Stokes recorder, and it's used for measuring periods of bright sunshine. The device is ingeniously simple. If you've ever used a magnifying glass to focus the sun's rays on a piece of paper and burn a hole it, you will understand how it works.

The instrument is located away from buildings to prevent shading. By means of a glass sphere, the sun's rays are focused on specially prepared cards, leaving a charred track for those portions of the day when the sun is shining brightly. The charts are changed daily and the charring is measured and recorded in tenths of hours.

Ignore the nonsense replies and the 'techy' replies: the controlling factor is the ability of the 'Sensitive' to select individual channels from the infinite number available. Most people act like aerials, you are steeped in an aether of electromagnetic and psychic signals. Only a few people have decoders that can fasten onto a specific channel, like a tuner on a radio or television.

This requires concentration. The crystal ball, like the scrying tray or divining rods is a means of concentrating the psychic 'tuner' on the required task, just as a verbal 'magic spell' is a means of finding, concentrating on and combining the forces required to alter the old reality to the new reality in which the desired result exists.

The Microsoft 7.2.4 is OK, but you need to update it regularly, there was a conflict issue with Acme Ultralite582 divining rods, but I think that was corrected with service pack 2.
Personally I would recommend the Firefox supersquint 11 for less vulnerability to security issues, if you live in a sunny country they do a tinted version that offers full eye protection, no need for dark glasses with that one !
Good luck with your Doom-mongering, heaven knows, its not that easy.

Problem is, once you start you can't stop. and it starts to take over and you start to loose it big time. And peeking into the future isn't enough. Oh no. You have to really look and then they spot you. You are just a flash in the corner of the eye but they have you. And once they see you, they never look away. Ever.

It doesn't matter what crystal ball you use as the pictures are formed from intuition not pure sight

I just got a Pirates of the Caribbean "eight ball-like" pirate skull in a McDonald's Happy Meal. I ask it a question & it answers me with, "ARRR YES" or "ARRR NO". Seems to work well for me! ;)

I'd stick to reading palms, runes or tarot cards.
Crystal balls are way too expensive.
It's okay if you have a waterfall nearby as you have to purify them first before using them.
