I think it's "incorrectly" as well. But if you live in the Southwest or the South in the United States, I think the word that gets pronounced incorrectly is the word "creek." Usually it comes out as "crick." However, I think it is a charming regional usage, and I say it that way as well, especially when I'm imitating a cowboy accent.

Marlene Dietrich pronounced it incorrectly in
"Witness For The Prosecution"
and Madeline Khan too in "Blazing Saddles".

In both cases it was just a joke from the
directors to make clear that these girls should
be Germans (in the movie) ...

But nowadays everyone pronounces wrong
when he says "comfortably" .... so
Hollywood influences
our normal lives ...

u asked often not always , so "incorrectly" as an answer is ruled out. here's something interesting. schedule is pronounced skejule in america but she-dewl in england. both are english but accents are different. nothing is wrong or right. note "yes" is often used as "yeah", yepp" or even "yeppers"

I believe the word is incorrectly. Although, i cannot say the word linoleum unless I am toasted no matter how hard I try. lol
