For the past few days my throat only hurt when i swallowed, and i had minor headaches and i basically slept all day, now when i swallow it doesnt hurt anymore, but i've gotten a dry constant cough. & im pretty sure that the back of my throat smells pretty bad no matter how much i brush or rinse. So any concerns, like should i see a doctor if something else happens or should i wait it out?

If you don't have green mucus or phlegm then you most likely have something Viral and the doctor will only treat the symptoms. Get yourself some cough medicine, increase your fluids and rest. You can even chew gum that increases your saliva and helps to thin out the mucus. Viral illness's take 7-10 day's sometimes longer if you don't rest, to get through.
But if you get worse, hard to breath or green mucus or just to ease your concerns then yes you can go to the doctor. You can also look in your phone book at hospitals and see if in the add they have an ask a nurse.

Sounds like you may have strep throat. Get to your doctor and in the meantime you can gargle with Chloroseptic spray. It numbs your throat and keeps down the smell, dryness, and soreness.

you may have had a sinus infection, your sinuses drained down your into your throat causing it to hurt and the headaches could have been from your sinuses being full. go to webmd.com and look up sinus infection and see what the symptoms are to see if thats what you had and it should also tell you how to get rid of it, good luck and feel better

wait it out you are hardly going to die,people dont need to see the dr over every little pain or sniffle as the body will repair itself given time and rest.A doctor isnt God you know and doesnt do magic you will get better in time give it a day or two.
