Because Bush doesnt know what he is doing with the country right now, and so he really doesnt care about the other families who are loosing a loved one every day, but if he sent his childern over there, then he would have to proove the point that what he is doing is wrong, and he would have to admit it to the whole county. personally i think that the war is pointless, i dont think that any of the things that are going on in the world right now are useful, just adding stress to the lives of everyone else in the world, its not worth it, nothing is worth loosings hundreds of millions of people. i just think that he needs to think about what he is doing, and stop thinking what his daddy would have done, he needs to be a man and take responsibility for what is happening. for instance, in the event of 9-11, he was in a classroom in texas listing to a little child book, and he didnt do anything about it, and then he goes on vacation while we are at war?! dont you think that is a big enough sign America??? This is fully just my opinion, this is not to offend anyone who is for Bush, so i am very sorry if i offended you, again, this is just my opinion.

This is the United States, and here we have a voluntary military. You have a choice to serve or not to serve. You would probably force people to serve but that isn't the way we work. The Vice President did something that no Demicrate would ever do. He divested himself of all of his Halliburton stocks, so, when Halliburton makes money Dick Cheney doesn't get a dime of it. Most of the owners of Halliburton are Demicrates anyway. You may want to know that long before the liberals made Halliburton a boogyman, halliburton served every President since Harry S. Truman. I noticed that when Lyndon Johnson was president liberals didn't have a problem with Halliburton, even though Johnson was, and his family continues to be, major stock holders in the company. My Question to you is, why do liberals make boogymen out of companies like Halliburton, and Walmart? These are publicly traded companies, which means that the people own them.

I don't see any of the politican's children enlisting. But then it was Bush who led us into the Iraq war. He had a vested interest in doing so. He is now too much of a coward to admit it was a total disaster and has sunk into civil war. A Pentagon General admitted this on Thursday, also an outgoing Ambassador. Hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost, there is fighting and death daily.
Those who are dying daily in Iraq or Lebanon, Afghanistand and Israel are the reminder of how the world has been destabilised by those blinded by self belief and greed (Chey/Haliburton profit) Unless certainty is tempered with humility and humanity, the future is not hard to read.
Look into the eyes of any four year old refugee on the road to nowhere, and wonder what he will be when he grows up. Bush has helped to destabilise our world and taken us down a very dangerous path for which our brave men and women are paying with their lives each day on the battlefields of Iraq, and Afghanistan. Meanwhile the children of Bush, Kerry, Cheney , Rumsefeld, pose for pictures at coktail parties and Blair parties with Arnie and Snoop Dogg in L.A.

Well, lets see where to start....hmmmmm
First, it is a volunteer arm forces, maybe they don't want to join, I did, and am proud of it......secondly.....read the article...they lost money the first quarter, and they are the second largest oil company in the world, and they are only paying 6 cents a share? Coke and Pepsi pay about times that......and how much of that loss in the first quarter, and the gain in the second quarter, was due to their work in Iraq....now remember, they are the second largest oil company in the world......it si great that you document your thoughts.....but you are not thinking this totally through.....you are jsut suspecting that it backs your arguments, and it does not

::rolling eyes::
It's called freedom buddy.. every one of the soldiers over there fighting for you, me and everyone else CHOSE to be a soldier...they understand the risks associated with their decision to be a soldier..
Bush's kids couldn't join even if they wanted to.. hello mcfly.. it's called a security risk.. there is no way.. they would be targets as well as anyone they served with..
And Cheney is no longer linked with Haliburton.. he sold his stock a long time ago..
Please tell me you are not so brainwashed.. geese

Your question is rhetoric. But if Bush's kids were in the military, can you imagine the price tag of secret service protection. They would be a liability as the threat of kidnap would surmount the war effort
