Ok, I am 18 years old and I just discovered that I'm pregnant. I'm not dating the father (he's a friend) and I have made the decision to keep my baby. However when I eventually told him about the pregnancy he told me that he had just recently started "seeing someone". I feel really bad about what I want to do...but I know I want to keep it.

This question got a number of disturbing answers. What you need now is support and caring. You will be OK, you sound like an intelligent girl. If you e-mail me I can give you some advice about what to do next including where to get funding for college if you desire to go. I am not saying it will all be easy, but you will be blessed more than you can poss ably imagine when your new little one comes into your life.

Think hard - the time to feel good or bad is over. Can you keep the child, will you able to feed the child, educate it and give in essential love adn comfort.
If not plan for an abortion or giving up the child
If yes - you need to think money. Talk to the boy he is father, even if he is seeing someone else he has to take car of it financially. Get help - you will need lots and lots of it.

Stop thinking of your own selfish desires and think about the child you're going to have. Keeping a baby when you are only 18 is self-centered, egotistical, and immature. Consider adoption. Give the baby a chance for a decent life with a loving couple who can take care of him or her.

When your 18 you wont have a good idea to select a good colloge or subject to study how you came to an idea of bringing up a baby ?

Abortion is not a good one but sometimes poison is also a good medicine to cure certain diseases

All the best for your future Dont go ahead for stupid ideas

Who cares if he is seeing someone else? He slept with you willingly I am assuming therefor he needs to take responsibility for his actions too. If you have sex you risk becoming a parent. If he doesn't want to be a part of the baby's life that's his choice and you shouldn't feel guilty, unless you forced him to have sex with you or you purposely tried to get pregnant knowing he didn't want to have a baby.
