Has anyone ever received the free gift and how many people were defrauded like myself. Also I canceled immediately and still received the items and charged. I dont' think so no one won a free computer with all those bogus pop-ups.at first even i was very excited to see all the advertisements like free laptop,ipod.....,but my brother explained me that all this is fraud and they are just collecting the email id and literally i mean to say it is nearly a hawking .Even no one can assure u that they are reallly the add's of the existing companies or fake companies .and it is meaningless to spend much time on all these which is result less
it is sad that u spend nearly 4 hours on the net, No one can assure u that every think on the net is true then u will be chatted.utilise internet for knowledge and again never be cheated by all this advertisements.
there are laws concerning fraud on the internet.but no use and it is just further wasting of money.but be careful thar u would not be defrauded in the net again
all the best

Sure there are laws about fraud on the internet...

BUT...

Their company could argue that it was your computer that failed and you would be the one having to prove that it wasn't.. Hard thing to do..

Also, about the charges to your account... if you authorized them... because usually with those things you have to buy a service then it isn't fraud because you gave them permission.

I don't know anyone that has ever gotten a free gift.. and while the advertisers aren't scamming anyone they are on the fringe of being very wrong.

Hope you learned a lesson and don't waste your time on stuff like that.. if it seems too good to be true.....

AdWare is invading your pc. Get Ad-Aware and delete all traces of AdWare.

Anyway, Internet Laws are already doing all they can to stop frauds. But there are more hackers than lawmen so they are pretty outnumbered.

You must be very careful who you give any personal information to on the internet. People and companies may not be who they say they are. If you believe everything you see on the internet you'll get ripped off. It is so easy to lie on the internet, be careful.

All this is fake and just a means of hacking your system by the hackers. You have just added many adwares to your computer so just remove them!!
