well batman the chances are after a millon you will of played the same game but that is very unlikly as if you was using your own deck of cards. i'm a programmer and the game is set up to be random, if the game was set up to know what cards to be delt each time this would invole alot more programming as it is the source code (programme) has been written, to make sure every game is a new game and cards are sorted randomly

I'm only answering this question because I like your name. It's random. But when I play Spider at work, the same game comes up the first time, so I always re-deal. Other than that, it's random.

With Classic Solitaire, it's random.

With Freecell, it isn't. The deals are predefined, and the same number, e.g. 13355, calls up the same deal, no matter which person's Freecell you're playing.
