My fiance is African-American and I was wondering if many people are so racist as to say that it is wrong. Have you had any bad experiences with interracial dating?

There's is nothing wrong with interracial dating. Some may argue it's hard on children, but if that's the case, the problem is with society's perspective, not your relationship. From a genetic standpoint, interracial children are probably less likely to inherit herditary disorders since the parents have a lower occurence of similar genes. I'm African-American and married to a man from Spain, and I have no regrets whatsoever. We live in jackson, mississippi now, and I think the horror stories of people yelling stuff and burning crosses are somewhat overstated. If we can live happily (although kinda bored) in the Deep South, you should be fine.

I think that doesn't matter race. I am not American so maybe I am not the right person to say it but here are so many people saying that homosexual marriages are ok etc so I cannot believe that anyone in their right mind could say that interracial marriage and dating is wrong. Love is the only thing that matter everything else its just a mask, mask that we cannot chose that we are just born with.

Interracial dating and marriage is becoming more and more prevalent and accepted.
I'm sure you'll get a lot of racist answers to your question, but to me people are people, and love is colorblind.

I say if you're both of legal age, be with the one you love. I've never understood the hang up on color, both in terms of hate, and with the supposed white girl, African American man fantasy. Love has no color, to sound incredibly cheesy.

Nobody said it was wrong. A friend of mine married outside of her race. The problem is when you have children. It could be hard on them because people could be cruel.

No, i think the greatest shame is that it's still even an issue up for debate. It just is, there's not rights or wrongs to it.

I've said this many times. There is ONE race, and it is HUMAN! We have many different shades of color and physical attributes, but we are all the same.
