i had a 94 323f which i modified quite a lot a few years back. I had a lot of trouble finding off the shelf modified parts for the mazda so most of the stuff i used was custom made.

basic upgrade will be an induction kit (air filter) K&N are a good make and they made a filter for my year 323 so they may do the same for yours, dont expect much bhp increase with an induction kit alone tho.

next up is a full exhaust system. go to powerflow and get them to make one up for you, they are quite cheap and the results are really good.

if you are after big power then you'll have to spend a bit more money and go more extreme, ie engine swaps, turbocharging etc but its up to you if you want to spend that amount of money on your car.

you may be able to get lowered suspension springs from a company called PI, this lowers your car by about 40mm and helps handling while improving the looks!

probably the most effective styling mod you can make is to get yourself a set of aftermarket alloy wheels, you'll be suprised how much difference a new set of alloys can make. Get the largest size you can afford and can cram into your wheel arches without any rubbing when on full lock.

the best thing to do is to go and buy one of the modified car magazines like maxpower or fast car from whsmiths.
www.maxpower.co.uk

these mags are full of good ideas for things you can do to your car and loads of adverts for specialist car modifiers and aftermarket parts.

You'll also probably be able to find a garage in your area from one of these mags and they'll be able to talk you through whats available.
oh and do a google search for mazdaspeed....usually good for mazda body kits and performance parts.

good luck mate!

You're not going to find anything off the shelf. You may be able to find some pictures of old IMSA racers from that era and try to build something to match that. However, this is all going to need to be custom made metal and fiberglass parts - not exactly easy beginner customizing. I'd get a book on fiberglass and practice a lot.

Or you could just leave it stock looking and drop a rotary engine in there out of an RX-7. That'll take a lot of people by surprise.

put in a more powerful engine uprate the brakes suspension get retro mag for ideas.body kits etc would be harder to come by all you can really do is tint out the glass as long asyou don,t go to dark as the law is pretty hot on that sort of thing.the other idea is to restore it to its former glory and have it as a claasic not many left at all now
