I am about-27-year-old male. As an Industrial Engineering graduate, I had worked for 2.5 year in a factory in my home country as a supervisor. But I found that my work-life was boring, and I was interested in IT. Now I will move to Singapore to get better job and better life. This is not only about money or position. I need a workplace where I can give my talents to.
I am also planning to take my master's degree in the next several years. Perhaps it can be my turning point in my career. I want to be a lecturer or a book-writer someday.
I have a lot of plans but I don't know how to work it out. Any suggestions?

Welcome PR.

1) Singapore is not a bed of roses
2) work hard and be a singaporean and understand how they feel. They are not worried about your race nor where you are from if you show that you are equally as hardworking as them
3) do not bringing in all your kaki from your hometown. we do not like it. (just like C....B....) did in their financial analyst team. now every one not happy,
4) remember, you have now wanted to make your life in singapore and make your home in singapore. understand our pains too. we have to pay for expensive houses and cars which is not as cheap as your country + the high cost of living to excel ourselves and our children too. Hence, by understanding our pain and work and feel with us. You will become a good singaporean and many of them will help you in many ways to achieve your dreams in whichever ways you want.

welcome now singaporean to be

When we talk about paper qualifications, our Singapore have many, many , if not better than yours. Get a job, where there is amber time for you to further your studies like taking the "master" degree. If you want to become a lecturer or any other post, then I think you talk latter. Settle your dream step by step. Good luck!
