basically one can say, that if a woman does not get her period regularly, the body is busy with something else. in your case this may be overweight or can also be any other medical or psychological issue. to avoid worrying go for a check up with a gynocologist that you trust...and if everything is ok on a physical level, then don´t take it hard. its ok not to have your period for some time. relax and take it easy. step by step you will find out, what is the matter. the body has a language on its own and if you are willing to listen to it, all the relevant answers will come to you. good luck and all the best to you.

I don't have this problem, but it sounds to me that you might have a problem with your thyroid (hypothyroidism) which can cause problems with your weight (sluggish metabolism) and menstrual cycles. You'll most likely have your blood drawn and make sure to ask your doctor if she's checking your thyroid levels. If you do, you'll need to take medication, which should help clear things up. Until you see your doctor, you have really no way of knowing what's going on. It's hard enough being a teenager without having medical issues, I feel empathy for you. I hope you can sort this out soon. Have a healthy and happy summer! :)
