well if he still likes to play older games, doom 64 is a freakin awesome game. its a game for people who like action shooting games. the game is about hell breaking loose on mars and your the only surviving marine, and you have to shoot demon spawn to explore the mars space station and find the portal that leads to hell, and you have to fight your way through hell and get out alive. mortal kombat deception is also a great game. im a mortal kombat fanatic, i eat breathe and sleep mortal kombat. well, hope he likes wutever you get him.

for amecube is super smash bros melee and zelda the windwaker.oikman was very amusing too. for playstation there is final fantasy 7 and 8 and if your into it spyro the dragon. for n64...maybe starfox.
