Jews - Torah. Among the Hindus there are so many sects such as Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, Shaivaites, Vaishnavas, Saktas, Brahmo Samaj, Arya Samaj, Sanatanis, Naths etc. etc. Buddhism has Tripitaka; Jains have Agama and other books; Sikhs have Guru Granth Sahib etc. etc. But Hindus as a whole have the Veda, the Upanishads, the Purana and the two famous books called the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. The Bhagvat Geeta is the epitome of the scriptures told by Krishna and found as a small part in the Mahabharata. The last book precisely called Geeta means the celestial songs is mostly read by the Hindus as a scriptural Book, as it is humanly impossible to read such a vast source of ancient literature in one life time.

Hinduism is a much older and complicated religion. A lot of works such as the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Gita are considered holy by the Hindus.
The Hindu equivalent of the Bible or the Quran is the Bhagavath Gita (The Gita for short), which contains the revelations of Krishna (considered by many Hindus as an incarnation of God on earth) to his disciple regarding the duties of man to his fellow human beings, nature and God.
The Gita itself is just a part of the Mahabharatha which is considered to be one of the biggest epic stories, in Hinduism.

Actually its not a one book religion but loads of book.

Vedas especially first three ie Rig Veda, Yajurveda And Samveda . Atharv Veda is rather Secular and does not exactlly disscuss religion.

Upanishads are the main Books concentrating on God , his form , and religious philosophies.

Bhagvat Geeta , as Raj said above is more or less a commentry on them.

Geeta is generally considered most important as it covers most of philosophy in short.

Besides it Ramayana is looked up as to teach what should be an ideal, while Mahabharat teaches what should one not do.

The whole mahabharat can be summed up in one paragraph:

Do not to others what ye do not wish
Done to yourself; and wish for others too
What ye desire and long for, for yourself — This is the whole of dharma — heed —it well.

— Veda Vyasa, The Mahabharata

Otherwise Hinduism is too vast to ever study all different schools and fully understand it.For thousands of years India has been a veritable laboratory of religion: everything imaginable has been tried out, and nothing ever has completely been rejected. Its ethos has evolved down the ages through its the ancient Hindu traditions, customs, philosophy and culture.

Hi,

Its called Bhagvad Gita, in general for all Hindus. But, in specific there r various sub-castes in Hindu who have there own holy books. For example, the Jains call their holy book as Kalpa Sutra.

Bhagavad Gita, Vedas, Upanishads. Hinduism is not an easy religion to categorise. At one extreme it is like animism, belief that god is in everything. At the other extreme it is like monism, belief in a single god (Brahma).

You can find similarities between Hinduism and Greek and Roman pantheism. In fact, some of the deity names are related.
