No. The maps are *old*. Not in real time.

Well, if you mean military security risks by governments to other governments, then for sure its not, as governments probably had these information before the launching Google Earth anyway...

But the risk is here, terrorists using Google Earth to map certain locations, not necessarily military, and plan to attack these areas...this is the real risk...

Maybe, because Google Earth is international and can be seen ranging from government to governments.

SOmetimes they blur government images and maps for security.

Dude, just go on the CIA World Factbook, it just tells you everythign about a country and even shows some military bases..the stuffs out their, you just gotta find it

I'm sure that the government "alters" the images that they need to before letting us or anyone else view them.

However, even though it is not "real time" terrorists could still find it really ****ing easy to plan where and when, anywhere in the world.

everything these days is a security risk. also the maps are so old. look at perth. the conventiona and exhibition centre is not even there

What you get to see with Google Earth is not "real time".

So, the answer to your first question is, probably not.
