In US it is 3.40am and in Singapore it is 3.40pm. So that will answer why the rest of us are still awake at that hour - time difference.

I'm only "dimwitted" WHEN I'm awake at 3:40 in the morning! And, my parents were married so...maybe I don't qualify to answer this question. Anyway, I have to be up that early to get ready for work. I surf the net while I'm waiting for the coffee to kick in enough so that I can start to function. But wait, some of my "best answers" have come to me at 3:40 in the morning. Go figure.
