What do e Hizbollah want that the Lebanese govt does not provide? After all, Hizbollah is represented?

in govt. Correct me if I am wrong. In other words, why do they still need a guerilla arm operating at the behest of Syria and/or Iran? What were they thinking when they attacked and kidnapped Israeli soldiers on July 12th? Is it as simple as getting hostages to trade with for Hiz. prisoners held by the Israelis? Or is the Hizbollah not of nationalistic origin but rather a religious Islamic one? to further Iran's mission of Islamic State? Thank you.

Israel attacked Lebanon and kidnapped thousands of Lebanese civilians (including many Hezbollah militants), Israel attacked Palestine & kidnapped thousands of palestinians (including government officials) and made them prisoners.
In retalliation Hezbollah captured 2 israeli soldiers and thought they will exchange the 2 israelis for the release of Hezbillah prisoners in Israeli prisons.
