It's not true though. If you've ever been on a long haul flight it becomes obvious that the earth is not flat.

NO,we think we are flat because it looks like it. it is sooo huge.we cant fall cause of some kind of force inside eath is pulling us.there is no other force in space so the world looks flat.same thing for the ant that is on a bowling ball, it looks flat for it.
