Hey!! I've got that same problem!!! My Husband rarely gets bitten, and they just eat me alive!!
My Man always says it's coz they like "Sweet Meat"!! lol
I think we women emit a desirable scent to not only men--but to all the critters buzzing around out there. I hate bug spray--but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do!! Sure beats wearing a flea collar, or toting around a bug zapper!!lol

Some people have a different reaction to bug bites than others. My brother will get eaten alive by bugs, and it will leave huge bites allover him, but nobody else is afected.
The "OFF" bugs spray works real well for my brother, and we don't have to listen to him complain anymore

I have no idea why...maybe it is something to do with human females' biology, as someone said. But I think I'm staying of the southwest. Brown recluses there. I hate spiders!!!

their blood is not sweet like yours I am very serious here. The insects are attracted o sweet blood and yours is. So watch out with the sweets you eat, it could be dangerous for you in the future. Good luck to you

I've read that women release certain chemicals that men don't; humans aren't consciously aware of it but insects sure are.
In short, we have sweeter blood in our veins! It all makes sense.

Not all blood is the same, bugs prefer the one over the other.

Some people are just more appealing to insects- it has to do with your body chemistry. I never get bitten, but my kids do.

You taste sweeter?
If I were a bug, I wouldn't mind "eating" you.
