Who gives it the name of terrorists.. bah! nowadays, we have terrorist with power!! and they make you believe that the "bad guys" are the Hezbollah... it depends of the side you see things.
Israel and US are in the same side, do not expect an impartial response to your question.
The ones who invade foreign countries in search for power, those are the real terrorists.. and they complain when this people defend themselves... Not fair. By the way... Israelies invaded this territories... nobody ask them to install themselves there.

You are right. The US does not consider Hezbollah as terrorist group, but rather classifies it as such from their point of view of classification. This serves the purpose of creating weaker states always in need of help and donations, and globally fights what they consider as the real threat Iran which is SHIITE too. Many other things come into play but HEZBOLLAH is a legal political party which is gaining momentum and strength, and that does not look good for the US toy Israel and also from their backers in the US which are any and influential in a society whose majority is ignorant in politics. What is happening now is a continuation of the wrong things the US doing since 9/11 and even before, Afghanistan, Irak, Lebanon, Somalia, Yemen, Sudan where at every instant they have not score a single decisive win. As for Iran and N. Korea this tells how afraid they are to touch the prosperity of their country and sacrificing it with their Pride and Honor. There is more but it needs time and effort so please excuse me.

It is believed that Hezbollah was behind the 1983 suicide bombing of the United States' barracks in Beirut where 241 American servicemen and women died and 60 were injured. These men and women were part of the multinational peace keeping force in Lebanon, I would consider this an act of terrorism, thereby classifing Hezbollah as a terrorist group.

Sorry Mr. World Justice but the recent incidents between Israel and Lebanon are due to Hezbollah crossing into Israel and abducting two Israeli solders and killing nine others as well as lunching a constant barrage of up too hundred missiles a day into Israel. Hezbollah are not the Government of Lebanon, their army is not the army of Lebanon. Half the population in Lebanon are Christian. Hezbollah targets women, children and all non combatants. They are a tarriest group.

I'll give you 214 reasons. I'm a former United States Marine and Hezbollah was responsible for the bombing in Beirut, Lebenon. This occured while most of these Marines were sleeping. You really shouldn't ask such a silly question. And this is just one incident. Hezbollah has been hellbent on dealing death and destruction ever since its inception.

Hezbollah is not a government, and by definition, is a rogue organization that commits violence. Rogue is the key word here. Hezbollah is no different than the Colombian guerrillas committing atrocities in the name of government resistance.
As Condie Rice put it, you can't negotiate with Hezbollah because THEY ARE NOT A GOVERNMENT! They are a group that preys upon the Lebanese for their support. That's why Israel is telling Lebanon to stop supporting these rogue animals. Israel can negotiate with Lebanon. It cannot negotiate with a fanatical group of people.

* a series of kidnappings of Westerners in Lebanon, including several Americans, in the 1980s;
* the suicide truck bombings that killed more than 200 U.S. Marines at their barracks in Beirut, Lebanon, in 1983;
* the 1985 hijacking of TWA flight 847, which featured the famous footage of the plane’s pilot leaning out of the cockpit with a gun to his head;
* two major 1990s attacks on Jewish targets in Argentina—the 1992 bombing of the Israeli Embassy (killing twenty-nine) and the 1994 bombing of a Jewish community center (killing ninety-five).
* a July 2006 raid on a border post in northern Israel in which two Israeli soldiers were taken captive. The abductions sparked an Israeli military campaign against Lebanon to which Hezbollah responded by firing rockets across the Lebanese border into Israel.
There are more than that...I assure you.

well, how about them firing rockets into israel for however many years it's been. hmmm, maybe their support of suicide bombings against civilians? their attacks on american troops in lebanon who weren't even there to fight hezbollah. and george meirelle and tobias, there's this book you should all read, it's called the protocols of the elders of zion... it's obviously right up your alley. and it's pretty pathetic that anyone has to even ask if hezbollah is a terrorist group, it's kind of like asking if the world is flat.
