I am struggling to bring my grades up. I feel that is a long way to be able to catch up. I get discourage because I feel time is passing me by. I really want to graduate from University. Many people around me think I don't want to accomplish anything and that I will never make it. I really do, but I don't know how to make up for the time lost. I want to know how can I reach my goals without getting discourage. I had many obstacles and I feel I am alone in this. To be honest I don't have good grades, but I know I could of done better. Please can someone advice me and be very honest and helpful way. I would truly appreciated.

The first part of this is simple-sounding, but can be challenging. Why have you been unsuccessful so far? What can you do to change those conditions and keep them from happening again? If it's a matter of study habits, I'm guessing that's what other people are going to be posting here: try a couple things out and see what works for you. Whatever you figure out the problem is: ask someone for help with it. Does your Uni have a counseling center? They're probably VERY much used to helping people with this sort of thing.

The next step is giving serious consideration to a transfer. The fact that you call it "University" means you might not be in the States, and I don't know if it's any more of a hassle where you are, but here...it's socially weird, but seriously in the long run not a big deal. You can transfer credits, but as long as you can get into another institution, your GPA won't haunt you.

Once you've made that decision, just focus on the present and what you can be doing instead of always going back to how much of the past you need to make up for.

You have already started getting good grades the moment you have relized you have done mistakes. Next step is close your ears to all comments and discouraging words it is said by the people who did not do even half of what you have achived so pls allot time for each task you will do in a day and do it truthfully within no time you will reach the goals you have set for your self

First off, YOU need to go to your professors and ask them.

WHY?

It lets them know that you recognize the situation and that you genuinely want to correct it.
You ask them for their help and ask if they would recommend a tutor, at a reasonable rate.

Or if you can not find a tutor get one of your friends to ask you questions from the material that you are learning.
