I'm afraid after 19 hours, that you have probably already tried something on the polish such as polish remover or acetone. If you have, I'll tell you right now, it's ruined! If you have not used anything on it yet, then you still have a chance.
The answer is plain ol' rubbing acohol. I have done this many times and it will take the polish out, but you need to have a shop-vac handy, and with some water, make sure that you rinse well and extract well. Otherwise the acohol can do some damage, just like the acetone, or polish remover. None of them are good for the carpet, so rinse and extract well.

Leave the nail polish stain wherein it's, whilst it's time for a respectable cleansing, enable this professional to take away the stain. They can do it competently with out harming the carpet, or the carpet backing. They too can with ease rinse and extract there answers from the carpet fibers.
