More money can be got for less work, if the work involves decesion making, alert thinking, manipulation. The brain power has to be used. The charging of brain cells is done by eating the best proteins, dry fruits, vitamins, clean healthy religious life,
playing golf, mixing with elite folks.
Physical gard work like lorry drivers, plumbers, carpenters, ship builders, road contractors, farmers, etc require brute strength.
This strength can be instantly got by pushing down coarse food, cheap liquor, and rough lifestyle.
Both types are required to make the world go around.
Try putting a fisherman & Legal attorney in each others shoes.
Lets not bring confusion in the world by equalising them

No, we can't. Pretty much everyone can do physical labor, but not everyone is capable of figuring out and deciding how best to use it. Although equality is just, incentives must be provided to those capable of less commonly achievable work in order to have them do it instead of simply staying where they are.
A good example are sports stars. Yes, I do feel they are overpayed. However, their job provides a key source of entertainment, and very few people are capable of reaching the big time, so being a sports star requires a unique skill set.
Now, suppose those sports stars have a job, like being a secretary or something, in the off-season. If being a sports star paid as much or little more than being a secretary, how many do you think would bother changing their career and deal with all the new kinds of crap involved (like contracts, trade-offs to new teams, high physical injury risk, being an instant celebrity/role model, attention from the media)?
It may not seem fair, but higher pay and less 'work' probably has more downsides than people usually consider.

well, the advice almost always comes only after specialized training which takes time and $, whereas anyone can use a shovel. and also, the sorts of consultation skills you're talking about are in higher demand with a lower supply, so economics dictates a higher price. it seems like you are arguing that a construction worker should get paid the same as a lawyer or doctor, which doesn't really make sense

Because usually that advice is the product of years of work in school, further education and workshops. You're paying more because that person has skills that cannot easily be found, whereas you could hire just about anyone to do unskilled manual labor. Craftsmen, or people with experience usually get paid more for their manual labor and so on.

Because advice saves you time and energy so that you wont have to go through hard labor for 8 hours a day only to find out the same advice 5 years later.

people in white collar jobs get paid for all the stress of being responsible for the decisions they make. people in blue collar jobs usually (but not always) don't have to take responsibility for what 20 people do and how they do it, and if they mess it all up.
there plenty of 'laborers' who get paid a lot more money than managers and supervisors - but that's because they have skills they got from some sort of training program or trade school. please check out the links below and see for yourself how much these people get paid. I know a nurse with 4 yrs of college who gets paid a lot less than this!
