Where is the "fuel cutoff inertia switch located" on a 97 chevy silverado (MEX)?

No GM production vehicle has a inertia cutoff switch. This type of switch comes only on Ford production vehicles. If your are having fuel pump problems there is a TSB on the connector at the fuel pump for this vehicle. You have to drop the tank to fix it and there is no recall through GM.
Why are you asking is the fuel pump not working? Keep It Simple. Check power and grounds first.

Gm never used an inertia switch check your fuel pump relay or fuse and connected wiring

it wold bet it is the module in the distributor it control the fuel pump. i ran in to this on a blazer. i change the pump it he tank and it still would not run and come to find out the ignition module controls the pump on start up and run. i paid $65.00 for the pump and the module cost $20.00. and if you take it out advance ar autozone can test it for free. this is the part all the wires plug into.

i dont believe gm ever used an inertia switch ford and even old jaguars do but have never seen one on a gm, or even one listed on a gm wiring diagram.
