Wire taps are not allowed in criminal court. Civil court cases have different rules, and vary from state to state. If you are trying to prove that your husband is cheating on you, however, that will probably make no difference. In most states, the only grounds for divorce is "irreconcilable differences." Cheating is no longer grounds for divorce in most states (although can be part of the irreconcilable differences). The best thing to do is to open your yellow pages, call find a certified P.I., and just call and ask. Or call and ask a family law attorney (again, you should be able to find out over the phone for no charge).

As to whether or not it is even possible to "tap" a cell phone - It is of course possible. Cell phones use some sort of radio frequency that they transmit and receive on. Find that frequency, and you can listen in. However, I have a feeling that finding the correct frequency would be dang near impossible.

However, I would still call a P.I. The one thing that Private Investigators do well is follow people. If your man is cheating on you, a good P.I. shouldn't need to listen in on a cell phone conversation to prove it!

Cell phone sends out a micro wave signals. They can be scanned. Not easy but it can be done. If it is done by a PI the only way you can use in court is that the other party was advise that phone conversations were being recorded. Sorry cant use in court. Not sure if it legal for a PI to do it either. If it is your cell phone you can do anything you want with it. Cell phone bills show all numbers and times called

Now on the other side of this cell phone companies record all cell phone calls and save all on tapes. US Government makes them do this. So if you are doing something on the cell phone that the FEDS might want you are screwed. All cell phone call are taped.

There is no way cell phones can be tapped because there are no lines. And again for the record. You'd better check with your state as to divorce laws, cheating is not grounds for divorce in most states nowadays. You'd better check with a lawyer first. Because if you go around taking photos, spying on him your "evidence" can be held against you and you will wind up having to pay all of the court costs in divorce court. I suggest you grow up. Sounds to me as if you were way too young to get married in the first place.

There is no real way of tapping in to a cell phone. Getting his cell phone billing might be the only way of knowing who he is talking to.

microwave signals? bunch of idiots watching too much CSI. I bought a scanner about 15 years ago so I could listen to many frequencies but only law enforcement and "MAYBE" a PI can get this now because the frequencies have changed for your privacy. call a PI and ask him not these people who know nothing on the subject.

Only with a court order. Mormally only law enforcement can get that order. Usually only in felony cases
