I thought it was only mass murder if it happened in a Catholic church on a Sunday, OH well, guess it is time to change plans again. I seem to have seen papers refer to mass murder with 5 victims, but I think they were confusing it with a cereal killing.

Two (2) or more persons killed in one incident is considered mass suicide or murder.

the answer was given by the Iaraeli commanders when they said: We killed only 28 children in Qana in Lebanon ...not 37 as the media says.
SO: 37 children is the minimum limit for a mass murder.
