Watching the birth of my little girl. When she came out of her mother her eyes were open and looking at ME!!! I'm sure that's how your father or mother feels about you.

There are so many moments in life and as you grow older the more there are. Many people forget about happy moments and dwell on the sad ones. I have really a few that are tied for happiest.
1. Being with my wife for the birth of our children. Each time brought happy tears to my eyes.
2. Seeing our children learn a grow. There are many moments everyday that brings a smile to my face.
3. Seeing, talking, kissing and etc.. with my wife.

The happiest moment was really about two years ago when I was with our family. All of our children were playing and having a great time. My wife and I looked at each other knowing that we really were soul mates that day. It is really hard to explain this feeling. Happiest feeling anyone could ever have.

Firstly, please cheer up and don't do anything harmful. I might not know you but I'd grief terribly if you did anything of the sort.

Second, happiest moments? I don't have a happIEST moment. I like to think that I'm making every second count like gold, because I'm so scared of death and all, I believe in God but I can argue myself out of it. The most recent one would be entering this really tough debating tournament with my partner, and breaking (to the semi finals) SECOND and the first team who broke was all expected and stuff, and we were so pleased to have come right after them...then we got through the semis to the finals as well and we were so happy. It didn't matter that we didn't win, because we had great fun and did something we thought we weren't going to be able to do.

Think of...freshly mown grass, a really good bargain, an unexpected smile from an unexpected somebody, a huge enveloping hug that took all your worries away, a movie that made you cry like a baby but you were so touched you didn't care at all...

Close your eyes and hear some tides.

"God give me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference."

Good luck.

Guess what...many times these past few days, I have been depressed because of some problems at work. Then I came across your question. It made me ask myself the same question. I read through the answers given...It made me happy. Honestly. For some reason, I came to realize I just have to count my blessings. You just have to look around. You'll see...

My happiest moment (which happens almost everyday) is when I'm with the one I love...

By the way, many people love you. Ask them. I'm sure they do.

every time i see my crush who doesnt know that i like him, but i feel he is the best person on earth.
Amanda, i've read ur other questions. You shud really call 911 or whatever it is where you live, and tell them about who has done the horrible things to you. It matters. They will help and you won't be hurt. People will protect you.
I've been bullied for like ever in school, i know its not as bad as what you've gone through, but i read a book, called "smart thinking" it gives you tips on thinking good about ur life and gaining self confidence.
Set goals, be proud of everything you do. Work hard for everything you do, just dont give up. With success you grow confidence.

Find a moment in your life that meant the world to you. Just think about it every time you think you cant take it anymore.
It helped me when i had no friends and nobody to talk to. And this site helped me too, because I could just talk about all my problems and ask questions, without feeling too embarassed.

Good luck, I'll pray for you!

I've had many happy moments & can't really say one is the happiest. But now I feel I'm about having one. When you, Amanda, change your thinking pattern & desire to live & be happy, then this will be my happiest moment so far.
Do you want to do me that favor?

Happy moments.....let's see....

when my God answered my prayers and my 2 week old daughter didn't die as the doctors told me she was going to.

when we celebrated my grandparent's 80th and 88th birthdays last month...who have been the most 'in love' people I've ever met and married for 60 years.

when I go out in my back yard and look at a flower closely and say ....."Gee, God.....how the heck did you figure out all the little bitty details on how to make this???"

when I'm going through a tough time in my life and remember the words of a friend years ago...... "God don't give you nothing you can't handle"......and I get through it and smile and say....."Thanks God"!!

***************
May God Bless and Keep You.
Remember.....when Life knocks you to your knees.....
It's time to pray.

I know this may not make you feel better but I am simply unable to think of such a moment. I am still behind with happiness, and I hope that story lies ahead. I would love to tell it to you once it happens. Or, maybe... I simply have trouble remembering...
