No, you can set it up through your accessories ,and then in the sound card setup.

Well the headsets just like wearin headphones so u hear the sound in the earpeice n the mic obviously is for u to talk lol. U dont need to have speakers there to hear any thing as its all done on the headset. The only time you'd need speakers is if u didn't have a headset but your friend did and they were on the net talkin to u! :P

That is not necessary and there are head sets available with a single speaker also. You need to have headsets with 2 speakers only if you want to hear the stereo sound because with one speaker the sound is not sterophonic.

No, the head set act as the speakers would. As also if you have speakers you only need a microphone.

if u want to use the headset u can .. or else u can speak through the mike and get the sound from the speakers.. that helps if many more people around u want to listen simultaneously.... if its only you who wants to listen then use the head set wit mike.. connect it to the place where speakers are attached... simple!

if u didnt connect the listening part of the headset then u need to connect the speakers.

You can heare without speaker ,But soundcard should be installed in your system.
