the microscopic blood in my retina really annoys me because i can see floaters. This has been happening to me for 2 days and i am trying to sleep as much as possible to get rid of it. I thought it was due to tear or detached retina but thankfully it wasnt. My eye doctor said the blood will diminsh over time( how long do I have to wait and would the floater dissapear with it) please give me sensible answers because im worried about the floater.

If you went to an eye doctor and you are still worried, you need to get a second opinion and another doctor. He should have answered all of your questions and given you a complete explanation of what is wrong. One of the big problems with medicine today is that doctors are not communicating well with patients due to time constraints forced upon them by the insurance companies.
Another problem is that patients don't ask questions when the doctor appears to be running off to the next patient. All of your questions and concerns should have been met before you left the office.
You might want to give this doctor another try and call him to see if he can explain things to alleviate your concerns. It doesn't seem that it is serious and it should go away in time. The blood is microscopic and gets resorbed into the system.
The only question i might have is why did this happen in the first place and could the underlying condition still be present?

Microscopic hemorrhages in blood occur in diabetes, hypertension, toxemia of pregnancy, kidney disease, and a bleeding disorder. It can also occur without any cause. It totally gets spontaneously resolved in six weeks. If a cause is found it should be treated to prevent recurrence.

Try WebMD.com

Mine went away in about 2 weeks. Just try not to strain your eyes too much. Like staying up late or driving at night. Wear sunglasses outside, so your eyes relax a bit more.
