I want to know how the task is performed and whether or not you found it painful. Another one of my concerns is, does it leave a scar? What I mean by scar is, does it leave the same kind of hole look that you get from getting your ears pierced? And how long, on average, did it take you to heal? Thanks.

The proper way the task is performed is with a needle and a receiving tube. Here's one method.....( I'm not including the set up or the sterilisation procedures)
♦Your nose is cleansed, your nose is marked and a desired location is chosen,
♦a small tube is inserted inside your nose.
♦A well lubricated bevelled needle is pushed through your nostril quickly, and exits inside your nose and into the tube, but is not pulled through all the way.
♦A nose screw or a CBR(hoop) is quickly inserted and the receiving tube is taken away.
♦ any excess lubricant is wiped away.
♦The needle is thrown away, aftercare is explained.
This all takes a few minutes, the piercing itself takes a few seconds.

Painful? Most people describe it as a pressure feeling. I didn't find it painful, but every body's pain tolerance is different.

Scarring? Again, everybody is different. I dont have any scarring, and I've had both nostrils pierced ( at different times). Some people have a small indent, some people have a small white dot, some people have nothing. It depends on your body, if you had an infection, if you took care of it, if you wore bad quality jewlery, and how long you had it. The hole lookes different than the hole on your ears because your earlobes are different than your nostril.
Your nostril is made up of cartlage, and it heals differently than your earlobes. Not only do earlobes dangle constantly, theyusuially carry heavy earrings over long periods of times. They also are made of weak skin. Nostrils are made of cartlage and the inside of your nose is made of a mucas membraine, these heal very quickly, and thats why if you take your nose piercing out, it will heal over in no time.

depends on how sensitive your skin is....what the environment is where you have it done....and no matter what, it is foreign to your body and your natural immunity will try to counter act what has been done....scar tissue WILL form....there are teenie weenie guage studs that you want to choose if you go through with it!....but nothing is guaranteed as to how your body will react....you could have a noticable scar....permanent skin discoloration, or nothing at all wrong...I was among the first to get my belly done about 20yrs ago....and my ring is almost out, from the bodies natural rejection of foreign objects....whatever you do...MAKE SURE you want to do it!...it is your face afterall!...you do not want a permanent blowhole...lol...ALSO do a background check on the place you have it done....MAKE SURE they are on the up and up and sanitize EVERYTHING!....good luck

possibly a nostril piercing because of fact the place I stay abdomen button piercings are particularly worry-unfastened and nostril piercings look super (i'm speaking related to the factor of your nostril in case you recommend the interior then abdomen button because of fact the interior piercings make you look like a bull)
