Air Ariana to Dubai, Dubai to Bangkok on Thai Airway or Emirates. Emirates is the best.
I have known a few people who have flown Ariana to Dehli and then Air India to Bangkok but then you need a visa for India and you have to make sure that you get the kind where you can leave that airport if you have a long layover as a couple of friend found out.
What are you doing in Kabul? I was there for a 1 1/2 years working on the Canadian base.

Thai Airlines fly from a few cities in Pakistan direct to Bangkok. If you can get from Kabul to Pakistan then that's the most direct way to get to BKK.

I think india will be a better option....if you take flt to dubai....you will be traveling in opposite direction....indian airlines flies on monday, tuesday, thursday, saturday.....
