Now, if you're gonna get technical, the pound of feathers would be a lot larger, cause it takes more feathers to weigh a pound than it does gold.

More useless trivia: All objects on the moon will fall at the same rate, and hit the surface at the same time if dropped from the same height, such as a feather and a hammer. The reason why is because there's no air resistance on the moon like on earth, and all objects fall towards a larger mass at the same rate.

Gold is measured in troy weight. A troy pound is 12 oz, or 373.24172 grams, whereas a pound of feathers is around 454 grams. So a pound of gold, measured the way a pound of gold /would/ be measured weighs less than a pound of feathers.
