Please kindly, why is the State religion of Israel Judaism but not Christianity?

In the book of Exodus in the Christian Bible, the Jews (The Children Of Israel) migrated from Egypt to Canaan via the Sinai desert. Why did they later abandon this Promised Land until 1917 - the time of the Balfour Declaration - and then 1948 - the time of the ''re - creation'' of the State Of Israel?

Is this migration from the Egyptian Pharaohs to Canaan via Moses and Haroun acknowleged anywhere in the Holy Quran?

I don't know much about the Koran, but I do know that they believe the Old Testament. That is where the covenant between God and Abraham came about, and the descendants of Ishmael derive who are now a majority of the middle eastern races. I know that they even recognize Christ, but only as a prophet, and they claim that Muhammad is the revised version of God's word. But that's an excellent question. " Do the muslims recognize Israel's exodus to Canaan in the Koran?" . I really don't know. Maybe we should ask this question to any knowledgable muslims.

I believe hamas and Hezbollah are doing what Arab leaders should be doing to defend their countries .Do u consider the Israeli reaction for keeping 2 Israeli soldiers and not even killing them is equal to what is happening now in Lebanon ????
USA and Israel are killing hundreds everyday in Iraq and Palestine in terms of keeping peace in the middle east !!!! that is really ironic!! why don't they mind their own business and leave Arabs alone .

The Jews "abandoned" the Promised Land because of invaders at different points in history. The bible says the reason they were invaded is because they sinned against God, but God would return them one day to the land, and that's what happened.

hezbollah and hamas are military groups (guerillas) who were formed due to the constant conflicts between Israel and Lebanon+Palestine. these groups fight for the freedom of their country. their governments have nothing to do with them. they do not respond to the governments or seek them for help.
