I don't think so.....
In the first place.... if humans evolved from Monkeys..... WHY ARE THERE STILL MONKEYS AROUND? What happened? did they miss the Evolution pool?
And another thing is.... When a species evolve from another.... they keep evolving. EVOLUTION IS A NON-STOP PROCESS. Humans should have evolved into another kind of species or grew an extra limb or wings, or fin's or something. Evolution never stops.
So it is highly unlikely that evolved from monkeys or anything. I believe we were created as the bible says, but I also think that it is possible that we came from that single celled thing theory.... which in my opinion, God still would have controlled.
In the bible, it says that God created man in a single day but what people don't realize is that a single day to God is as..... A THOUSAND YEARS.... so there you go.... it may have taken a few hundred years before Mankind became what we see today.
But then it's just my opinion. I hope one day everyone will find the answers to this question. But as for me, I'm satisfied with this answer, besides.... it doesn't matter where we came from, what matters is where we are going and so far it don't look so good.
Peace.

No we did not come from monkeys.
But even the bible it not true.
IF we came from adam and eve then there was a hell a lot of incest in the first human family for it grow down the generations. Then if you believe the bible then that incest again happened in Noah's family. Bible is just a half hearted attempt to explain the origin of man since it is the bible and it has to know everything.
But it doesnt make sense.
I always believed that the time is our own manifestion. Human created time based on the suns rotation. But did time really exist the way we calculate it. Because of this time which we created we are forced to believe that everything has an alpha and everything has an omega. That is there should be a start for everything.
Years is nothing but time. So we believe that everything should have 0. There should be a start.
But i think otherwise. Things can just exist and so did we through eras.
There is a reason why darwin did not find the missing link. Because there is no link between humans and monkeys. The neadrethals are nothing but different species of humans.
Even ancient mythology of India has a god name "hanuman" He had an entire army of monkeys. They were monkeys that spoke. Now it could be a figment of the authors imagination. But it could also be fact based on the species.
Ancient mayan, Indian, egyptian and native american civilization have acknowledge the different species of human and have confirmed that there are thousand of different species of human and not all of them live on this planet. They even have different levels of intelligence.
I would like to believe this because all these civilazation were in different parts of the world and how could they all have similiar ideas.
Apart from this many finding of "modern" skull found that were dated much before those stage of man as listed in common evolution theories. But these finding are being ignored.
IF darwin was a saint with special powers of "higher-consciuosness" then we can accept what he says(not that i believe those kind of people). But here darwin has just placed a theory and i thin his theory has the highest number of "assumptions" every.
even the once celled organism theory is also based on the scientist assumptions about the conditions existing at that time.
The big bang theory is as hollow as the theory of god.
What caused the big bang?? is a question that can never be answered But it was just convinient to say "big bang" and that is it over. Same way for GOD. if the world need someone like GOD to create it then who created GOD. But we cannot ask that question can we.
But from evidence of Moderns skull being found that date atleast billions of years ago we can conclude that the modern day man existed long before the neandethral/primitive or ape man. Infact there is "modern skull" that is older that any skull ever.

This article shows not realtion to neadethral man. So how can we even link us to humans. The neandethral man must have been another species of humans which went extinct

A good debunking of darwins theories. You will see how darwin has used theories like "warm pond" to support the mains theories. if we look at the with commons sense it turn out be nothing but ridiculous assumptions created just to prove his Point OF View.

This is a common misperception, gleefully advanced by the evolution deniers. The truth of the matter would be to say that humans and monkeys have a common hominid ancestor, from which we went our separate ways a few million years ago.
By examining the similarity of an animal's genetic code to our own, we can determine how closely we're related and approximately how long ago we shared a common ancestor. We still share a number of genes with other animals. We even share a few (e.g. genes that code for certain common proteins) with plants.
While the fossil record overwhelmingly supports evolution, the evidence from molecular biology is a slam-dunk, all net.

No that is not how evolution works. Our closest genetive relatives are monkeys but we do not descend from them. We came from an unkown sigle celled oganism which mutated in the specific chian to create our species. At certain times we may have resembled to an extent monkeys. Monkeys may have evne evolved from the same type of cell but with different mutations.

Actually no. Some of us devolved into monkies, but it's a long story.

Yes; what happened to our ancestors is similar to what happened to primitive dolphins: some evolved in the very smart tursiops, some has still an average intelligence among all the animals.

Possibly. However, If you enjoy possible qualities of descent, you might consider other animals such as kangaroos and the cat family. If you are nearly insane, you could even imagine a descent from dinosaurs. Of course, it is only realistic that mongkeys are the ancestors of your family and friends.

I don't think so. Scientists just tells us that genetically we are close to them. Even evolution theory itself is not a final conclusion. There are still a lot of things to be explained by the theory. Do you think that your ancestors are monkeys?

If it's true then there shouldn't be monkeys left in this world since all of them has evolved to men.
