My 16 yeard old niece is well on her way to becoming the class whore. I have read some of her notes and it sickens me. She has no shame, her attitude sucks, she even has boys and detailed encounters listed on her wall calendar. I know she needs help, there's no telling what she will do or has done. I've spoken to her mom (my sister) but she avoids the subject. My niece's father does not live in the same home but he is around. I spoke to him as well. I don't care if people think I am nosy, or if they think it's not my business. She needs to get some help.

is she searching for love, affection and a feeling of being wanted, sex might be the nearest thing to these feelings that she can get.
Having sex is no crime and can be good but this does not sound positive, she is looking for something that is missing from her life. You need to talk tio her parents and work out how to solve this, do not accuse or be confrontational with her about this as it is going to make things worse, are there any experts that can help you.
you obviously care for her maybe you can give her more support and make he feel loved and cared for, if she has lost respect for herself then you can help her get it back by showing respect and love for her, it will take a long time but she will be so much better for it and you will have done the right thing.
it is not nosey to interfere it shows you are a good person because you care.
