I have tried lifting the front and pulling as on most washing machines but I can't get it out and am afraid of pulling to hard in case I break something!

I had the same problem on my Servis Gem machine! You really just have to give the drawer a very solid pull. According to the instruction book you pull the drawer open as far as normal then give a sharp tug! Failing that call one of the regional Homecare appliance service centres and ask them how but not to do it for you as it will cost a fortune! Good Luck!

fully out the draw then lift theres a catch so press both sides in as you lift
