You're mistaken.

Traditionally, liberals aren't anti-anybody - liberal values promote understanding and tolerance, the notion that what's right for me isn't necessarily what's right for everybody else, and vice versa. Many, many Jews are liberal.

Because of the historic sympathy with the Jewish people, many liberals are by extension rather pro-Israeli.

It's really only since the war crimes committed by the IDF in the 1980s in Lebanon, and continuing into the present in the Occupied Territories and now again in Lebanon, that liberals have taken to criticizing Israeli policies and practices. That's not to say they've turned and become anti-Israeli - I believe it's possible to criticize a friend or a loved one and not need be considered against him or her. I can support Israel's right to exist and her right to defend herself without condoning the slaughter of innocents. What happend at the Shatila and Sabra refugee camps was morally repugnant, and Israelis should be as ashamed of that incident as Americans should be of the slaughters at Wounded Knee and Sand Creek.

If you are so thin-skinned that every little criticism makes you turn against the person who is criticizing you, how are you to grow and learn? No one is perfect, and we all need some feedback on our performance. Liberals should criticize government policies that are unfair or are immoral - whether the government in question is an ally like Israel or Japan, or an enemy like Iran or Syria, or the United States itself.

Government's accountability to the people it purports to represent is the essence of democracy. The Founding Fathers built into our Constitution the separation of powers because of a fundamental distrust of government and power, and its potential for corruption. Public criticism of the errors of government is a civic duty. No one is above criticism, whether in time of peace or war.

Because they're anti-anything that is GOOD.
Like pro-life, pro-guns, pro-God, pro-commandments, pro-prayer, pro-family, etc. You get my drift?
They want the take what you want cuz you want it life whether it's wrong or not and they want the laws to justify their action so they won't have to feel guilty while doing it.
That includes being biased against good people, like the jews and the israelis.

not liberal, considering i myself am one is anti-jewish, mu ido is even jewish and I consider them a very ingenious and smart people like many other races upon this world, but we are anti-Israeli beacuse they perpetuate terror and do not follow humanitarian or UN laws and resolutions and are contantly backed by the republicans within US, Israel and Zionist have no conduct of international law and continuelly and illegaly occupy further and further land, and as such I for one like many many other including jewish are anti-zionist and not anti-jewish, zionist and jeish are not synonymous with each other, they are rather reciprocals.

Well first, lets think of all the good things Israel has done for the world.....

...

um... they supply us oil?

No wait....they dont have any oil....

......

um.....

hmmm......

Well, if anyone can think of something positive Israel has done... like maybe retreated back to their origional borders or stopped randomly invading neighboring countries or stopped sucking billions of dollars of aid each year from the U.S..... please let us know so maybe there could be a realistic, non bible based counter argument to people who are 'anti israel.'

Hmmm, i've found that conservatives are anti-jew and anti-israeli, anti-gay, anti-feminism, anti-abortion, anti-people of color getting ahead, anti-poor and so on.

But who knows... there's a little 'anti' in all of us.
