No way. You two are in a different mindset than the other because of the age difference. If you were around twenty and he was twenty-four that wouldn't be too bad, but you're still in high school and still a teenager at that. Imagine if it were the other way around. When you're twenty are you going to date a 16 year old boy? No because you're more mature than he is. The only reason guys do it, is becuase subconsiously they know how vulnerable young teenage girls are and how much they want to be liked. basically the guy wants sex. He may not say it now, but he will eventually and then all the pressure will be on you. Get out while you can before you become obsessed and before he breaks your heart.

Well, I think this is a tough question because I know what you want to hear. The only thing I can ask you is this... do you think he is going to wait for 1-2 years for you to turn 18 before trying to have sex with you? I would bet alot of money against that one and that would be illegal in most (if not all) states. This just sets off all types of red flags for me. If you insist on pursuing this, be careful not to get hurt when he either decides not to wait on you. And if you do end up giving it up, you'd better hope your parents don't find out or he is most likely going to jail. not that I'd recommend doing this but you aren't going to listen to me or anyone else that tells you not to do this... it has to be your choice. Good luck, I know it will be a tough decision.

if you feel like it is the best thing to do.. then go for it..when i was 16 i dated a guy that was 20..it didnt get me very far but i tried.. dont do anything that you dont want to do..if he treats you right and with respect then stay with him..your only 16 you need to make mistakes and learn from them! good luck hun!

p.s..its a really big age gap..he's probably going to be looking for things that you arent ready to do.. but be careful! and dont do anything that could get you hurt!

As long as he is not pressuring you to go further then your relationship sounds healthy. If your family and friends do not like him then I would have to say there is a reason why you should not be together. take things slow.

no its not cause anybody can rat u out and he can go to jail for that cause basically ur jailbait. and either way its not a good relationship cause maybe he is ready for commitment which i doubt but if he is then he might be askin u to move in with him and get married and idk maybe ur stupid enough to say yes to it an ur to young for that. my cousin did the same thing except she was 18 and he was 23 and she realized she was movin to fast and messed up her lyfe.

Why not? Age doesn't matter. It is the mutual understanding & love for each other matters.

A r/s isn't just abt sex & kisses... If that guy ''force'' you to have sex with him - DUMP him

I think it fine. As long as both of you are comfortable and happy in your relationship, and are mature about it. Go for it. Have fun!
