When wearing a skirt to work in the colder seasons I feel bare if I am not wearing some form of hose. At the moment I have 3 pairs of pantyhose and 9 pairs of stockings (the garter type). As you can see I prefer stockings with garters because they stay up. I need to buy more hoisery and I am thinking about stay up stockings (without the garters). Has anybody tried these and would recommend them in a busy office environment? What type of hoisery do you prefer?

I have tried them (without the garter belt) and they do NOT stay up, and are very uncomfortable. I was constantly tugging at them. I bought the Victoria's Secret brand. I would not recommend them for a busy office environment. I prefer nude-colored fishnets. Sexy, but the nude color tones it down just enough to wear to work with a conservative skirt and pumps. And, the fishnet goes all the way up to the waistband, so they are not so tight, air can get through to your skin, and they don't seem to sag in the crotch so much.

I do not have firsthand experience, but what I DO have is a ladyfriend (had a ladyfriend rather...) who wore stockings and garters every day, all day. I asked one time, and she told me it was mostly comfort, especially wearing her underwear on the outside of the garter straps which made bathroom use SO easy. Pantyhose never fit her very well and eventually bunched up in all the wrong places at inconvenient times to unbunch them. Thigh highs cut into her legs too much. She told me there was no substitute for real nylon stockings as nothing else is as sheer and smooth. She liked smooth and shiny and stretch stockings never really are either. Her garter belt was more of a utility garmet, 4 or 5 inches wide with 6 wide straps instead of the usual 4 thin ones. The belts from Victorias Secret and Fredericks of Hollywood are more toys and not suitable for all day wear. She wore seamless stockings, and kept the full-fashioned ones for special evenings of indoor playtime. I, though, would get a very special thrill when we were to dinner or somewhere and I put my hand on her thigh and felt the garter underneath, and she got a thrill that I was thrilled...

I love wearing stockings and a garter, but mostly you will find me in pantyhose! I have hundreds of pairs, and I wear them 24/7. I am always wearing nylons, bra and panty under my suit to work. I then dress up in a skirt and heels when I get home, and I love it!!! So either work well, you just have to decide which you like better, for your body!!!

I always wear stockings and a garter belt, even when I go to work in the professional office I work at.

I like stocking, but mosty wear regular panty hose because they are easier. I have tried the ones without the garters-- I didnt care for them. I was always kind of tugging at them, I also had great fear the would be hanging out from underneath my skirt! Plus, if you are wearing any sort of tight skirt, they can be seen because they slightly cut into your leg.

till you place on stay-up stockings you will decide for a garter belt. Which, once you're taking a seat, the form of the straps garter belt could be seen on your thighs. maximum suitable wager, pantyhose. Why won't you place on pantyhose w/the girdle? you are able to positioned on the open backside girdle w/pantyhose. that's not too warm or confining and you're able to flow to the bathing room w/o getting one million/2 undressed.

stockings mostly but pantyhose with veryr short skirts or very tight dresses. I even wear garter belts and stockings under jeans or slacks sometimes.

I tried them, and use them in a pinch, but they are bothersome to me. They slip down, and they are thickier and therefore less sheer and more hot in the summer. I like sheer stockings and a garter belt. I can control it better, plus my bg loves to tug on my garters, and would miss them.

i usually wear pantyhose everyday to work. i'll prefer them over stockings everyday. lately, since the weather has been so hot, i have been wearing thigh highs. i do have to pull them up from time to time but in this heat, it's a smalll price to pay.

I am a 35 yr old male who loves women in pantyhose. I would say pantyhose. And for people that say pantyhose are out, it is the third largest fetish in the world.
