Alternate crunches with sit-ups. Do some in the morning and some at night. Stretch before doing any activity or you could hurt yourself. It might not seem like much at first but it will pay off. Do fighting sit-ups too to mix it up a little.

Also lay on you back and put your hands under your tush. Raise your legs off the ground about six inches or so. Then raise them all the way up then back down to six inches. Relax and keep this up for as long as you can stand it. This will work your lower abs.
