Over a week ago my 2 yr. old hit my over the head with his sippy cup.I don't know why he did it?I guess he really didn't know any better or maybe he didn't mean to.After he did it I fell to
the floor w/ my head between my knees screaming.Later that night I was real nauseated. There was a bump for a day. Then it went away. Now there is a small dent. Its barely noticeable. But it still hurts. Is it serious to have
a dent instead of a bump?

The indent on your head is most likely a scar forming or the after effects of the swelling.

If I was you I would touch it and if you feel anything that feels like Rice Cris pies or (bones scraping each other) called crepitus I would go to the ER immediately. It could be a fracture. Especially if you are still nauseated and vomiting, dizzy, are more forgetful, and have bad head aches.

If not you most likely had a mild concussion which is a bruise on the brain. It hay have a few lagging symptoms such as a minor - mild headache, nausea, and you could even experience amnesia if it is bad enough. The only thing to heal this type of injury is time. Some Ibuprofen may help with tissue swelling and the Head Ache.

If symptoms continue to get worse, go to an ER immediately.

Hope this helps.

you may possibly have a concussion, go to ER if you can asap. the reason there's no swelling outside, is because it may be swelling INSIDE. go to Doctor soon as possible.
