The groups Depeche Mode, the B-52's, Cars, and AC/DC are great choices. Don't know Bionic Love Triangle or Dixie Cups or Doo-Wops-sorry. Steeley Dan: overrated. (my opinion) Since you listed some great 80's era bands, you may want to check out Siouxsie and The Banshees, Romeo Void, Squeeze, Living Color.
