It's a judgement call dahlink, when your clothes no longer feel comfortable and your bras are cutting off your circulation, for goodness sakes..it's time to switch to maternity clothes..lol.. No two pregnancies are exactly alike and if you compare yourself to other pregnant women, you will drive yourself crazy...There is no text-book schedule! Good Luck and Congratulations!

Congrats.!!!!!!!!! I started wearing maternity clothes as soon as my jeans would not zip. I purchased the maternity jeans with an adjustable band. By week 14 my breast started to get full so I switched to a comfortable sports bra. I enjoyed my pregnancies and had a full wardrobe of maternity clothes. It was just as much fun for my husband to see his pregnant wife maintain her "Sexy". Looking good and feeling made for wonderful photos that we now sit and look at over and over. The clothes can be a little costly but if your on a budget try JC Penney, Target, or Macy's for nicely priced and trendy maternity clothes. Hey bask in the GLOW of MOTHERHOOD. God Bless.

With my first pregnancy i never wore maternity clothes. I just wore large shirts and pants. Now I am 13 1/2 weeks and already in maternity clothes as of this week- none of my regular clothes will fit.

I've just started this week, though I do interchange with some of my larger "regular" clothes too. (I'm 21 weeks)
Also- in the begining of my pregnancy my breasts were so sore that I woke up everytime I rolled over in the night. So, I went to the bra outlet store nearby and bought a couple of "Strapless" "sports bras" which were really like spandex bands that fit around my chest. They came in a couple of different colors and varied in price from 3 for $20 to $10 each. When my clothes started getting tight, I looped a rubberband through my belt loop and hooked it over my button (in my pants) leaving my zipper part-way open.
I could pull these "sleeping bands" down over my waist to hold the top of my pants [flat] and close together. They also cover my underwear when my fly's really open. Add a long tee-shirt and no one knows! It's just like you're still in your favorite pair of jeans!

With my first baby, as soon as I found out that I was pregnant, I was soo excited! With my second, I put it off as long as possible, and I traded the cute, uncomfortable maternity outfits for a closet full of huge overalls. I looked like a beached whale, but at least I was comfortable!
