its impossible for us to tell you that, we don't know what kind of bird egg it is. but birds body temps are around (ave of a couple species) 105. and ave incubation time 3 weeks maybe a little shorter. If the egg has been cool for more than 4 hours its probably gone though.

It takes about 20 minutes if you do it right...
Most people don't know this but the time it takes for a bird egg to hatch is in direct relation to how much heat is applied... the reason it takes so long in the wild is that the poor mother birds can only supply so much heat... Also this is why more birds are born in the summer than winter because the heat from the afternoon sun helps the mothers out quite a bit...
So what you need to do:
1. Wrap the little baby egg in foil. Make sure the entire surface is covered. You might want to double coat it.
2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
3. Place some more foil on a cookie pan.
4. Place the foil wrapped egg in the center of the cookie pan.
5. When oven is preheated place pan with egg on it in oven and watch and wait... soon the egg will split open revealing a beautiful baby bird!

The length of time depends on what kind of bird it is. I'm not sure what the temp. should be. Not sure I would attempt to hatch wild bird eggs. Care of baby birds is a 24 hour a day job. And it takes a very skilled person to be able to successfully care for baby birds.
You should try contacting your local dept. of parks and wildlife office or the game warden.

ok so at the start that's not the semen that travels to the egg that's the sperm. Semen is what the sperm are in whilst they arrive out. The sperm leaves the semen interior of a couple of minutes and travels into the womb. Then it travels with the aid of the tubes to the place it expects the egg to be. which could take hours or longer based upon how properly the sperm swim and how at as quickly as they flow. maximum sperm are no longer formed perfect and that they wander away or swim around in circles or purely undeniable die in the previous they get there. yet because there are hundreds of them that's no longer often a concern. Sperm can stay as much as 5 days, yet 2-3 days is greater common.

If you don't know the right temperature now, it is probably too late.
I've seen chicks hatch from eggs that were kept warm by suspending an electric light globe about two feet above the box they were kept in.
Good luck.

Chances are, if you haven't had it on heat already you have killed the chick inside. You shouldn't be trying to hatch wild bird eggs...it's illegal.
